ImpactSTATS, in partnership with EdLight and the School District of Philadelphia, is exploring how artificial intelligence can help educators better understand student thinking in middle school mathematics. Using AI-assisted formative assessment tools, the project analyzes student work to identify misconceptions, learning gaps, and problem-solving strategies.
The initiative examines how these insights can support instructional decision-making, improve student engagement, and advance equitable access to high-quality mathematics learning opportunities.
ImpactSTATS is partnering with Nurture NC to support the planning and development of a statewide Maternal & Infant Health Convening anticipated for Spring 2027. This initiative brings together leaders from healthcare, research, policy, community organizations, and lived-experience groups to align priorities, strengthen collaboration, and develop actionable strategies that improve maternal and infant health outcomes across North Carolina.
